At Ooni, two of our core values are passion and kindness. We're passionate about great pizza and connecting people through exceptional food experiences, as well as being a company for good – we believe that businesses have a responsibility to have a positive impact on the world.
The Ooni Impact Fund donates 1% of Ooni’s annual global turnover to charitable causes and projects focused on social and environmental change. To date, we've planted tens of thousands of trees through a partnership with the National Forest Foundation; sponsored Slice Out Hunger's incredible $1 Pizza Party this year to help tackle hunger in the New York area; and recently donated $10,000 to the American Red Cross to support victims of the California wildfires.
As today is Giving Tuesday, we've just donated $10,000 to the World Food Programme’s Yemen emergency appeal to address issues of hunger. Conflict in Yemen has triggered an acute humanitarian crisis with nearly 18 million people not knowing where their next meal will come from.
